Fotogramme und Lichtpausen // Pictures with the Sun

Wir lernen das fotohistorische Bildverfahren der Cyanotypie kennen. Ausgehend von der Arbeit der Botanikerin Anna Atkins diskutieren wir verschiedenen Positionen und Arbeiten mit dem Verfahren der Cyanotypie. Im Anschluss experimentieren wir mit verschiedenen Materialien und Bildkonzepten und versuchen neue Bildformen zu generieren.

We get to know the photohistorical imaging process of cyanotyping and receive instructions for the production of the light-sensitive substance. Based on the work of the botanist Anna Atkins, we discuss different positions and work with the cyanotype procedure. Then we experiment with different materials and image concepts and try to generate new image forms.
