My code/your code
Playing with the alogrithmised world.
What is your code? How can I understand you? How can I get access to you? An important question in the age of social media. Codes are everywhere. But they haven’t just been around since Instagram and TikTok. Typography, for example, is nothing other than our ‘human code’, the font. Fonts convey more than just the pure content of words, but also emotions, style and a sense of belonging through their form. Does that mean there is a code behind the code?
We are looking for projects that take a playful and open approach to the tension between rule-based systems and social issues. We are not only interested in generative and algorithmic typography, but also in how rules and methods can lead to interesting, humorous design solutions.
The medium is freely selectable.
