Markers against abuse

Here we will make a difference in an important issue!

I was approached by actor, director, and singer Kai Christian Moritz and immediately agreed to participate because it is incredibly important and also a great project for reflection and innovation, small and refined, visible, not disruptive to traffic but disruptive to perception/the brain. That’s how it should be.

Topic:
We are called upon to create an art object, a communication object, to conceive and design markers against abuse (in Würzburg but also in general) and to place them in public. Not like Gunter Demnig’s “stumbling stones,” of course, but just as effective and to “place/show/integrate …” at the sites of evil events, in order to generate attention, remembrance, anger, and the courage to seek clarification, and much more.

I have also asked the Faculty of Architecture whether students from there would like to and are allowed to participate. I have already had great experiences with mixed groups in my summer schools (Italy).

It would be great to do something together across faculties in public space, three-dimensional, material or cleverly colored, typographical, graphic, and to become just as influential and important as the Stolpersteine.

Opportunity:

Implementation at the 2026 Catholic Day in Würzburg. The Diocese of Würzburg in particular has recently published some alarming figures and reports. But there are so many other cases! They are all worth reporting.
