That’s weird!

Basics of Animation: Character-Animation

That’s strange.
weird — but not necessarily “ha-ha” funny; more like… peculiar?

We’re diving into the extraordinary. We’ll develop offbeat characters, absurd settings, and strange stories.
Together, we’ll learn how to create, as character animators, the kind of unique films that certainly wouldn’t come out of an AI “slop” machine.

Along the way, we’ll master the fundamentals of animation: traditional animation, motion design, digital and analog techniques, methodology, concept development, pre-visualization, storyboards, style frames, style boards, timing, rhythm, frame-by-frame, keyframing, rigging, easing, sound, 3D, 2D, 2.5D, and the dreaded sub-composition.

Prior experience with moving images isn’t required… though it certainly doesn’t hurt! However, participating in the After Effects TP is highly recommended.
