Data morphoses
When data takes shape

Data is constantly changing – it changes its form, structure, meaning or even its shape. Data morphosis describes precisely this process and its influence on the way we process information, generate knowledge and make decisions. In science, business and society, data morphosis is a key to gaining knowledge.
In this semester, we will explore the creative possibilities of data morphosis. Experimentally and without technical or creative limits, we want to reinterpret, stage and visually transform thematically freely selectable data. Our aim is to develop unconventional solutions that make data not only visible but also tangible.
Programming skills are helpful but not essential. However, it is recommended for “interactive beginners” to take Manuel Michel’s TP “Processing” in parallel in order to receive sufficient support in the implementation of the project. ChatGPT will take care of the rest.
