From product to emotion
Nowadays, a product needs a special shape and feel to stand out. Deciding on a target group is very important. Who is being advertised to, who is being designed and packaged for?
What are the current trends in packaging design? How do they differ in terms of their emotional impact and feel? How important is the unpacking process?
This semester we are asking ourselves what the ‘added value’ of packaging can look like? How can an environmentally friendly packaging material be used? How can packaging convey information in new, unconventional ways?
Design four different, informative packaging concepts on a free, sustainable or socially critical topic of your choice.
