The course provides an introduction to the fundamentals and basic concepts of law. Special emphasis is placed on the areas of intellectual property law relevant to the profession, including copyright and design law as well as trademark law, personality rights and data protection law.

A current text of the Copyright Act is required for the work in the course (will be made available to participants as a pdf via the e-learning course room). This text is also permitted as an aid for the exam.

The courses are generally held in person. In exceptional cases, a connection via Zoom is possible.
