Techniques of scientific working
Research through Design and Research with Design
In this seminar, students learn design–specific, scientific, inter– and transdisciplinary methods, such as research, documentation or analysis techniques. In addition, efficient working methods are taught, the handling of formal criteria is ensured, the understanding of scientific texts is clarified and their own logical argumentation is tested and sharpened. Finally, the examination of different theoretical approaches and methods should enable students to apply them independently in order to scientifically substantiate their own Master‘s project. Research by design and research with the design of the three–phase model according to Beat Schneider.
Regular attendance is compulsory.
