Poster design + realization of the winner + yourself as the target audience + for our city

We’re back on track! Design the 2026 motif in a kind of competition.

For those who are still new to Würzburg and haven’t had the pleasure yet: U&D is a huge open-air festival on the Talavera Mainwiesen with five stages, up to 80,000 visitors who enjoy music, art, spirit, fun, and good vibes under the open sky with free admission. (4 days on 5 stages, with 80 bands, 100 bazaar stands, 25 food stands, 25 clubs and initiatives …)

There are a few guidelines, which we will discuss on October 8.

The U&D team (some of them) will join us on October 8 and tell us a bit about the festival and the project.

 —    Please take a close look and evaluate these designs so that we can discuss them as a starting point.
—    Look for poster designers who create good, professional designs for festivals. Can we learn from them? Collect examples of good and bad designs and explain why. We want to get started right away because:

The TP will be very compact, which is certainly good for your other subjects at the end; at the end of November, we will hold an exhibition in the faculty’s showroom, and on the same evening, the judging will take place. By mid-December, everything for the course will be finished (i.e., archiving and data collection), except, of course, our mine.
