In the first semester of Drawing Conceptual Representation we deal with the basics of hand-made pictorial representation. In various short exercises, we approach the themes of people, portraits and self-portraits. We will try out the basic principles of illustrative pictorial representation. Line and surface, image design (composition, proportion, impression, reduction), principles and strategies of appropriation, sketching and notation.
