Designlabor

Das Designlabor richtet sich an die 1. Semester Studierenden im Master Design und Information und stellt eine Orientierung für das gesamte Masterprogramm dar. Das Designlabor bietet Raum für den Austausch in der Gruppe, für Inspiration, Experiment und Feedback. Ganz im Sinne eines offenen Labors wird hier erforscht, getestet, und gestalterisch exploriert. Anhand von praktischen Experimenten, spielerischen Übungen und theoretischen Aufgaben sowie der Realisierung von Kurzprojekten, soll sowohl die Verknüpfung von gestalterischer Praxis und wissenschaftlicher Reflexion geübt, als auch das individuelle Masterthema vertieft und ganzheitlich erfasst werden.

The Design Lab is aimed at 1st semester students in the Master of Design and Information and is an orientation for the entire Master’s program. The design lab offers space for group exchange, inspiration, experimentation, and feedback. In the spirit of an open laboratory, students explore, test, and design. With the help of practical experiments, playful exercises and theoretical tasks as well as the realization of short projects, the linking of design practice and scientific reflection is to be practiced as well as the individual master’s topic is to be deepened and grasped holistically.
