Ein Anthologie des Makabren, Absurden, Grotesken, Verstörenden & Furchteinflößenden

Schon immer verarbeitet der Mensch seine Ängste, seine Albträume, seine Traumata und seine verborgenen Abgründe in Geschichten. Und dann, seit der Erfindung des Films, eben auch in Filmen. Auch wir wollen uns unseren Dämonen stellen und unser Publikum mit ihnen konfrontieren. Wir arbeiten mit den Versatzstücken und den verschiedenen Ausprägungen des Horrors. Wir identifizieren Klischees & Tropes und umschiffen oder nutzen sie. Wir definieren unsere eigene Vision des Beängstigenden: von subtil-creepy bis hardcore, von künstlerisch-abstrakt bis einfältig-laut.

Unser Format ist die Anthologie: eine Sammlung von einzelnen Werken, die man als ein Ganzes betrachten kann.
Gerade im Genre Horror ist die Film-Anthologie sehr weit verbreitet. Sie übernimmt eins zu eins die Erzählformen von Anthology-Comics wie “Tales from the Crypt“, “Speculative Fiction”-Serien, wie “The Twilight-Zone” oder “Outer-Limits” oder auch heutzutage eben Creepypasta-Sites, “Black-Mirror” oder “Love, Death & Robots”.

Wir werden also aus einzelnen, getrennt entstanden und betrachtbaren Filmen & Animationen eine Anthologie schaffen. Einen langen Film, der als ganzes geschaut werden kann.

People have always processed their fears, their nightmares, their traumata and their hidden abysses in stories. And then, since the invention of film, also in films. We too want to face our demons and confront our audience with them. We work with the set pieces and the different forms of horror. We identify clichés & tropes and avoid or use them. We define our own vision of the frightening: from subtle-creepy to hardcore, from artistic-abstract to simple-minded-loud.

Our format is the anthology: a collection of individual works that can be viewed as a whole.
The film anthology is particularly widespread in the horror genre. It adopts the narrative forms of anthology comics like “Tales from the Crypt“, “Speculative Fiction “-Series, like “The Twilight-Zone” or “Outer-Limits” or nowadays Creepypasta-Sites, “Black-Mirror” or “Love, Death & Robots”.

So we will create an anthology of individual, separately created and viewable films & animations. A long film that can be watched in its entirety.
