Introversion is not an obstacle to be overcome. Rather, people of all ages should recognise this personality trait and work with it, rather than against it. This is the message of *Caro’s Clown Show Without the Spotlight*. In the story, written by Theresia Schiller for children aged four to eight, the self-assured and witty Caro learns to make the most of her talent for humour. And she does so without feeling uncomfortable in the spotlight. As she discovers this for herself, readers are invited to immerse themselves in Caro’s enchanting circus world and accompany her as she finds solutions through her introversion. She is supported in this by her two dads, but not dictated to. The warm and cheerful illustrations by Svenja Urban bring Caro’s story to life and encourage introverted children to follow her example.
