BOT x Gender equality
ScienceChallenge 2025

As part of this year’s Science4All Day at THWS, with a focus on digitalisation and equality, the Talents Award 2025 BOT² will be presented.
RoBot
CoBot
ChatBot
Boston Dynamics‘ dog-like robot Spot and Tesla’s Optimus are fuelling the debate about the rise of AI. On the internet, chatbots are learning about discrimination and racism as they communicate with humans. ChatGPT makes it increasingly difficult to separate fact from fiction. CoBots are revolutionising production and social robots are revolutionising care. But what are the most important and desirable ways to use robotics in industry, science and society? What should be considered, especially in terms of gender equality? What might be a female perspective on robotics? Who will do the care work in the future? What do we lose or gain when, for example, we automate the care of the elderly or the sick, or when chatbots diagnose our state of health?
We invite all disciplines to explore these questions. Ideas and concepts should be developed in teams and presented on an A1 poster. Creative, social and humorous approaches are especially welcome!
The most convincing submissions will receive prize money from the THWS together with the ICS on the Science4All Day on 5 June 2025.
